Cultivating a Meaningful Relationship With Your Teenager
Parenting Your Littles With Purpose
As a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Expert and mother she realizes that parenting is the most difficult challenge of our lives, parenting through the Early Years is labeled by many as the most difficult years of their lives. But I believe the Early Years can be enjoyable and fulfilling. Through this workshop I will help you identify the heart of your child, develop insight into the reason for their behaviour and help you develop strategies to guide their behaviours leading with love and honour. My workshop will consist of both hands on learning, exploring your individual child’s personalities and behaviours as well as seminar type teaching where you will gain skills, tools and strategies to empower your family.
Seeds and Weeds: What are you planting in your life and what are you growing?
In this seminar I will be talking about why we often have trouble shaking off the “sin that so easily entangles” (Hebrews 12) I will be discussing “weeds” in the form of bitterness, anxiety, depression, fear, anger, and more. I will share some of my own journey in how God untangled me and I learned to cultivate good seeds instead of cultivating weeds. If you’re looking to grow deeper in your relationship with God and throw off some of these things this is a good seminar for you.
I can't do this! Or can I?
Have you ever told yourself, “I can’t do it?” When we tell our brain to do something it tries to find the evidence to support it. It is pure science. It is amazing that with one small tweak to our thought pattern we could end up with a different result. In her seminar Laurie will explore how you can put your brain to work to find different solutions to the struggles that we deal with on a daily basis. Laurie is a mother of three fiercely lovable young adults and is still passionately in love with her husband (and business partner) of 25 years!
