Site and Facilities Manager

The Site and Facilities Manager is responsible to oversee the operation and maintenance of the physical property and vehicles. The Manager leads the Site & Facilities staff team, ensures that the RRC site and facilities are maintained to Young Life’s standards of excellence, and sets projects and priorities in accordance with Young Life’s master plan for RRC. The Manager has hands-on involvement in day-to-day site and facilities operations, manages contractors, and oversees all maintenance projects.

Machine Operator/Mechanic

Start – Now 

As the the Machine Operator / Mechanic you’ll be responsible to inspect, diagnose, repair and service RockRidge Canyon’s equipment, watercraft and vehicles to maintain safety and good operations, in a manner consistent with the quality standard of Young Life. You’ll also oversee the operation of the irrigation and snow making systems and assist the Site and Facilities Manager on all mechanical related issues.

Guest Group Coordinator

As a Guest Group Coordinator you are the smiling face, the warm handshake and the liaison between RockRidge Canyon and our guests, comprised of both Young Life and rental groups. Using your skills you will coordinate guest needs and RockRidge Canyon operations. As a member of a team dedicated to serving our guests and one another, you will anticipate and respond to those who come to RockRidge Canyon with professionalism, discretion and good will.

Cook / Baker

As a Cook/Baker you are part of a team that strives for excellence in the preparation and presentation of appealing, well balanced and nutritious meals for groups of 25 – 450 people. Food served with excellence and on schedule. The Cook/Baker works under the direction of the Food Services Manager to assist and lead food preparation and presentation, receiving and storing food, and kitchen cleaning and sanitation.

Office Assistant

Start – August 2019 

The Office Assistant provides exceptional customer service to RRC guests, Young Life staff, contractors and suppliers in person, on the phone and by email. The Assistant supports recruitment of Young Life summer interns and summer staff, summer adult guest program, and prepares resources for the summer program. The position includes basic bookkeeping, word processing, filing, and support to other departments of RockRidge Canyon and undertakes special projects as assigned by the VP, Property Operations. Basic graphic design skills would be an asset within the position.

Dining Room Host

Reporting to the Food Services Manager, the Dining Room Host coordinates the safe, effective and efficient operation of our three dining rooms. The Dining Room Host works closely with the Food Services Manager to ensure a safe and timely delivery of each food service.

The Housekeeper ensures Christ-like hospitality to the property’s guest groups by providing exceptional cleaning services, professional bed making and fulfillment of last-minute tasks.

As a Housekeeper you’ll be working alongside a variety of people, primarily in Wolfe Creek Lodge, our three dorm lodges, Pinnacle day lodge and The Rock theatre. You use your communication skills to maintain excellent communication between all property departments and Young Life field staff to ensure seamless and excellent service to all guests on the property. The Housekeeper may support the Housekeeping Supervisor with supply ordering, inventory management, and budget preparation.

Throughout the year, but primarily from November through April, we require casual staff to augment our Housekeeping and Dining Hall teams.
